Akshay Mhatre Career
After several successful years in the Marathi film and television industry, Akshay made his television debut in 2013 when he appeared on Savar Re, a Marathi series. In 2017, Akshay appeared on Hindi TV with the Piyaa Albela show on Zee TV. He was cast as the show’s male protagonist, Naren Vyas. Then, he was seen by Indiawaali Maa as well as Kundali Bhagya. He starred alongside Sheen Das for the 2020 season Indiawaali Maa on Sony Entertainment Television.
The actor debuted in the Marathi cinema industry in 2016 through the film Youth. He also starred in Marathi film productions Loose Control (2018) and Aart (2016). Also, he appeared in the documentary Greetings of the Day in 2017. In the Marathi television series Savar Re, he played the character “Ashutosh” to launch his acting career in 2013. He also acted in two films, a short film, “Greetings of the Day” (2017) and a Marathi movie, “Youth” (2016).
