Urvashi Dholakia in Early Years
On July 9th, 1978, Dholakia was born to a Gujarati father and mother from a Punjabi mother. Urvashi Dholakia marriage took place at the tender age of 16. She gave birth to twin boys and was divorced at 18 years of age.
Dholakia began her acting career when she was just six years old in a television commercial for a Lux serial that starred Revathi. The actress made her television debut as Rajlaxmi on the Doordarshan show Shrikant when she was a little older. She was Shilpa as part of the show Dekh Bhai Dekh, her first role as an adult on TV and then moved on to Waqt Ki Raftar. Also known as Komolika actress gained popularity in the early years of the 2000s.

Urvashi Dholakia in Bigg Boss
She was a contestant on Bigg Boss 6 on Colours TV in 2012. The show was a success, and on January 12th, 2013, she was crowned the winner of the entire season. In the historical fantasy show Chandrakanta, which airs on Colours TV, she plays Queen Iravati in 2017.
