Monkeypox enters in India, National Institute of Virology, Pune tested a sample of a person from Kerala has been reported positive for the Monkeypox Virus the first case in India on Thursday 14th July 2022. Yesterday, Kerala Health Minister informed the media that the person who has symptoms was in close contact with a monkeypox patient abroad. Recently he has admitted to a hospital in Kolkata but reports came negative at that time.

Monkeypox is spread to humans by coming in close contact with the infected persons or animals or with material contaminated with the virus. Reports say that is directly spread by rodents such as rats, mice, and squirrels.
What guidelines do we have in India for monkeypox?

And in hospitals with medical protocols observation and prepared clinical management. Make the patient isolated until he will get rid of this virus.
